Description of the offer

a- The main missions:

You participate in the technical follow-up of R&D programs relating to the analysis of gases taken from materials irradiated in an experimental reactor. This equipment is installed in the glove box.

Your mission, in conjunction with the engineer responsible for the test equipment, is to prepare the examinations, carry them out and analyze the results obtained. You also ensure the proper functioning of the equipment for which you are responsible with the monitoring of their maintenance and calibration.

You write technical documents presenting the results of your tests as well as quality documents for the laboratory (procedures, operating modes).

b- The benefits to come with us:

The station environment is unique since it is housed in a Basic Nuclear Installation (INB). On a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to use your skills acquired in physical measurements to characterize irradiated materials from nuclear reactors.

Moreover, if you like working in a team, you will appreciate the diversity of interactions intrinsic to the environment of this position, the process itself being implemented in a glove box. Also, you will be in direct interface with experts with very varied and complementary profiles (safety, security, radiation protection, operation, etc.).

c- The environment (Manager and team)

The laboratory is made up of 14 people, including 8 engineers (including the manager), 5 technicians and 1 assistant. As part of this mission, you will work in pairs with another technician and will be under the operational responsibility of a process engineer.

However, as the position is attached to a nuclear installation, its environment goes beyond the scope of the laboratory alone and you will have to collaborate with multiple players, the service operating in the installation comprising around 80 people.
