Specific training may be offered to the recruited person in order to complete his spectrum of skills.
The duties of the post holder are as follows:
- Assemble and set up experimental devices mainly comprising mechanical frames, vacuum chambers, pumping systems, various detectors and sample environments.
- Ensure the connection of these experiments to the supply and evacuation of fluids: electricity, water, compressed air, study gas samples.
- Design, install and implement vacuum systems (primary and secondary pumping, vacuum safety controllers) for experiments. Carry out routine maintenance operations.
- Design simple mechanical parts and assemblies to adapt experimental devices to changing needs.
- Contribute to the drafting of technical specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers, request quotes, place, track and receive orders.
